Enjoyed this place last night it was really good. I rarely ever give 5 stars to anything because I feel like that means you can't improve, and the bench seating was a tearing and a few other "ambience" things.
When we were there it was never busy so our loud 3 kids were never an issue but also glad that it was never an issue with the staff who were nice and friendly the entire time! Even asked before we ordered if we wanted a bigger table but we fit just fine in a booth.
The single most thing that was done was the first dish we ordered, I wanted to order a garlic shrimp for the kids to pick on but definitely didn't want to peel them and so I asked the server if they came skin on... her response was " we can peel them for you if you'd like".
That alone made the night, the food was good and it came out quick.
We ordered the
fish ceviche
Combo plate with pork tamale and carne asada chili rellanó
Chicken quesadillas for the kids to share
All were good and I enjoyed the sour cream mixed with a lemon or lime juice. I do wanna return to try there cheese chili rellano because by far that's my favorite but, when it's not a authentic queso fresco I've been disappointed. -

LOCATION: Tried this place for lunch. It's conviently located in the shopping center which is great. The sign was promoting their taco Tuesday special of $2 tacos so we decided to try it out. The place has the usual Mexican decor, and had some good Mexican music playing. Upon entrance I noticed it smelled like bleach a LOT which was kind of off putting.
SERVICE: The waitress was really nice, and made sure to take our dirty menus off the table when she opened them to point something out, (again kind of fun putting.)
FOOD: I hate having to leave shitty Yelp reviews sometimes but this food was below sub par. The salsa tasted similar to Tostitos salsa (not joking,) so if you're looking for something super flavored and authentic don't even bother. We tried carne Asada tacos and a chicken burrito. The meat was actually okay, but for the price, we could've gotten WAY better Mexican in the area. At $17 for those enchiladas, super bland rice / salsa, we won't be back. -

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed the food.
I had the seafood burrito with beans and rice.
The portions were huge and the fish, scallops and shrimp were well seasoned. I would definitely return. -

Came in hungry and was seated immediately. The man who seated us was friendly and quickly got us our drinks and some chips and salsa. Peaceful, comfortable environment. Clean, well-kept booths and authentic Spanish spoken here. The food was excellent as well. Glad we decided to take a moment out of our busy day and sit down for a good meal. Delicious!

Love this place! Grew up on Mexican food and this is the most authentic on Oahu! So yummy and reasonable!
